Alkaff Bridge This bridge across the Singapore River is also known as the Singapore Art Bridge. Built in 1997, the plain looking bridge was given new life by Filipino artist Pacita Abad (1946–2004). Pacita had battled cancer for three years and passed away the same year she completed painting the Alkaff Bridge.
