Character head maker -unfinished and broken-
This file is broken and I can't do any changes to it even if I wanted. Please don't talk about finishing it. Or point out the billion unfinished/unworking things or bugs it has; I can't do anything about them. Long story short, last summer I spent a few months on this, and one time I was saving it the .fla file started hiccuping weirdly and I soon learned that I had managed to get the file somehow broken, and Flash refuses to open it. Which means I'm unable to continue working on it any more, I only have the .swf export you can see here. Internet told me of some ways to fix a corrupted file, but those wouldn't work so now I'm stuck with this half-finished mess forever. Or I did have a back up on a different computer, but that's over a month's work late and quite frankly I don't think I want to see this thing any more. Now it has a million bugs and most of the UI doesn't work so most you can do is go through the premade characters and mess with the random character merger, but I guess it could still be some fun to someone. And you can see what a Hapuriainen project looks in the middle of the production (as if that was interesting)! I always just throw some random buttons to check if the first few options work, and add the rest of the buttons only after I've finished drawing everything so I know how to arrange them. So now this has hundreds of options drawn, but you can't access them through any other way outside the character buttons. However, despite this ending up as a whimpering mess it was still a very educating experience, and I learned a ton of things (most importantly: use version control for large projects). I'm especially proud of the hat button section, it creates itself so if I had just copypasted the code for the other options I would have buttons for everything in just a few minutes. Wait, now I'm even more angry that I didn't do that in the first place...
