About
A collaboration between digital artist Andy Campbell and novelist Martyn Bedford, this darkly comical digital narrative was commissioned for the Ilkley Literature Festival in 2000 in conjunction with Route Publishing. In some circles it is regarded as a key hypertext in the early development of digital, interactive narrative fiction in the UK. The reader moves through a series of linear short stories, following main character Luther’s experience to find his missing girlfriend, Miriam. In each of the stories, Luther is faced with a digital environment, for example a computer game and a Quentin Tarantino movie set. There are three endings: happy, sad and post-modern.
