<h2>Overview</h2><p>Shin Momotarou Densetsu ("New Momotaro Legend") is a traditional RPG for the Super Famicom featuring <a href="/momotaro/3005-24698/" data-ref-id="3005-24698">Momotaro</a>, the famous "peach boy" of Japanese folklore. The game's story continues where the previous game, 1990's <a href="/momotarou-densetsu-ii/3030-6259/" data-ref-id="3030-6259">Momotarou Densetsu II</a> for the PC Engine, leaves off. Momotaro returns home to his adoptive parents while the demons he's foiled previously continue to plot against him.</p><p>Shin Momotarou Densetsu would be the last <a href="/momotaro-densetsu/3025-1462/" data-ref-id="3025-1462">Momotarou Densetsu</a> game until a <a href="/momotaro-densetsu-1-2/3030-40220/" data-ref-id="3030-40220">GBC compilation</a> in 2001.</p>
