<p><strong>Bomberman Selection</strong> is essentially a modification of the Japan-only release, <a href="/bomberman-collection/3030-40388/" data-ref-id="3030-40388">Bomberman Collection</a>. However, one of the games on the original release (<a href="/bomberman-gb/3030-17435/" data-ref-id="3030-17435">Bomberman GB 2</a>) was dropped, and the cartridge was made to no longer be compatible at all with standard <a href="/game-boy/3045-3/" data-ref-id="3045-3">Game Boys</a> or <a href="/super-game-boy-enhancement/3015-4804/" data-ref-id="3015-4804">Super Game Boys</a> - making it play exclusively on the <a href="/game-boy-color/3045-57/" data-ref-id="3045-57">Game Boy Color</a> and later compatible systems.</p><p>Due to some sort of mix-up, the titles of the two games on the cartridge are mislabeled with each others' names:</p><ul><li><a href="/atomic-punk/3030-23410/" data-ref-id="3030-23410">Bomber Boy</a></li><li><a href="/wario-blast/3030-15003/" data-ref-id="3030-15003">Bomberman GB</a></li></ul><p>In addition, the text in Bomberman GB has a <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/broken-english/3015-251/" data-ref-id="3015-251">Broken English</a> localization.</p>
