Lenore finally agrees to be X-rayed, however, upon X-raying her, he finds that a rat is eating her skeleton. As he goes to "call some people", Lenore sees Death, who offers to take her "home". Ragamuffin does not see him and goes to fetch the doctor. Death tells Lenore to step through the portal, which she does.
