<h2>Overview</h2><p>Garfield: The Search for Pooky is a 2D side-scrolling platformer developed by <a href="/interactive-vision-games/3010-1630/" data-ref-id="3010-1630">InterActive Vision</a> and published for the <a href="/game-boy-advance/3045-4/" data-ref-id="3045-4">Game Boy Advance</a> by <a href="/ke-media/3010-1970/" data-ref-id="3010-1970">KE</a> (in Europe sometime in late 2004) and <a href="/game-factory-the/3010-3365/" data-ref-id="3010-3365">The Game Factory</a> (in North America on November 14, 2005).</p><p>Based on <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/garfield/3025-229/" data-ref-id="3025-229">the Garfield comic strip</a>, The Search for Pooky has players controlling <a href="/garfield/3005-5695/" data-ref-id="3005-5695">Garfield</a> as he searches for his beloved teddy bear <a href="/pooky/3005-5842/" data-ref-id="3005-5842">Pooky</a>, which was stolen by a trio of <a href="/mouse/3015-2264/" data-ref-id="3015-2264">mice</a>. The game is unique as it uses slightly-altered scans of the source material for the in-game art.</p>
