The Target cover generator was mostly coded over a three-day bank holiday / Memorial Day weekend in May 2020. It was inspired by Nicholas Love's Penguin Classics Cover Generator. Feedback may be directed to the Metebelis Two (@metebelis2) on Twitter. The generator should work (at least it did for me) on Chrome and Firefox on MacOS and Windows and Safari on MacOs. Due to some quirkiness, there are issues with the titles on the downloaded cover on iOS devices. It has not been tested on Linux. Your experience may vary. The generator uses Doctor Who Target novelisations logos that have been lovingly recreated by many fans including Clayton Hickman (@claytonhickman) on Twitter and Chris Throup's Doctor Who Logo Collection. The generator uses PNGs instead of SVGs because that is what I had available to use. Fonts used are Futura Condensed Extra Bold and Coolvetica, which, to my eyes, is a close approximation of the typeface used by the Target cover designers.
