This game is intended to replicate the Dewford Town gym from Pokémon Emerald, featuring a sprite of my own Pokémon art. It was made using RPG Maker 2000, which prohibits some components of the game to match exactly that of the original. In battles, instead of using the 'Fight' command, use 'Tech Skills'. There are a couple animated moves you can use. Plus, 'Fight' barely deals any damage. I couldn't figure out how to hide this option in RM2K. Unfortunately, the midis don't sound as they do in the original game or RM2K. Playing on Web: If the game doesn't seem to respond to keyboard input, refresh and try again. Playing on Windows: Download the zip file, extract, and double-click "Dewford Gym Remake.exe". Playing on Mac: Download the zip file, extract, and double-click "Dewford Gym Remake.app". If it doesn't work, go to https://easyrpg.org/player/downloads/ and download the macOS executable. Extract "easyrpg-player", move it to the root of the game folder, and double-click.
