<h2>Overview</h2><p>Woody Woodpecker in Crazy Castle 5, known in Japan as <em>Woody Woodpecker: Crazy Castle 5</em>, is a 2D puzzle-platformer developed by <a href="/tantalus-media/3010-309/" data-ref-id="3010-309">Tantalus</a> and published by <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/kemco/3010-1270/" data-ref-id="3010-1270">Kemco</a> for the <a href="/game-boy-advance/3045-4/" data-ref-id="3045-4">Game Boy Advance</a> in North America on December 2, 2002, in Japan on December 6, 2002, and in Europe on December 11, 2002.</p><p>The fifth numbered entry in the <a href="/crazy-castle/3025-2426/" data-ref-id="3025-2426">Crazy Castle</a> series, as well as the final game in the series, Crazy Castle 5 moves away from the <a href="/looney-tunes/3025-714/" data-ref-id="3025-714">Looney Tunes</a> license and instead uses the <a href="/woody-woodpecker/3025-1224/" data-ref-id="3025-1224">Woody Woodpecker</a> license. Players guide the wise-cracking <a href="/woody-woodpecker/3005-7213/" data-ref-id="3005-7213">woodpecker of the same name</a> as he makes his way through the world of <a href="/fairy/3015-2721/" data-ref-id="3015-2721">fairies</a> to the monster-infested Crazy Castle.</p><p>While the basic premise is the same as previous games, Woody can use his beak to peck at objects. The game is known for its disjointed use of hand-drawn 2D and pre-rendered 3D graphics.</p>
