<h2>Overview</h2><p>Honke ("Chief Household") Hanafuda, or simply Hanafuda, is a virtual hanafuda card game simulator for the Super Famicom. It features multiple different modes and AI opponents, and an assortment of photographic backgrounds.</p><p>It was developed by Aisystem Tokyo, which would go on to create Super Famicom Igo and Shogi games later the same year. Hanafuda sits between <a href="/super-hanafuda/3030-49686/" data-ref-id="3030-49686">Super Hanafuda</a> and <a href="/hanafuda-ou/3030-33857/" data-ref-id="3030-33857">Hanafuda Ou</a> in a series of hanafuda simulators released for the Super Famicom in the latter half of 1994.</p>
