<h2>Overview</h2><p>Marvelous: Mouhitosu no Takarajima is a <a href="/snes/3045-9/" data-ref-id="3045-9">Super Famicom</a> title developed by <a href="/nintendo/3010-90/" data-ref-id="3010-90">Nintendo</a> that was released only in Japan. It has the distinction of being the first video game directed by <a href="/eiji-aonuma/3040-38943/" data-ref-id="3040-38943">Eiji Aonuma</a>, who would later go on to become a central figure in the development of the <a href="/the-legend-of-zelda/3025-9/" data-ref-id="3025-9">Legend of Zelda</a> series.</p><p>A partially complete English patch was released by someone named tashi in 2012 that translates 98 percent of the game's dialogue. Marvelous was re-released for the first time ever in February 2014 when it arrived on the Japanese <a href="/virtual-console/3015-2925/" data-ref-id="3015-2925">Virtual Console</a> on <a href="/wii-u/3045-139/" data-ref-id="3045-139">Wii U</a>.</p>
