<h2>Overview</h2><p>PGA Tour Golf III is a golf simulation game developed by <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/polygames/3010-834/" data-ref-id="3010-834">Polygames</a> (along with <a href="/high-score-productions/3010-1838/" data-ref-id="3010-1838">High Score Productions</a>) and published by <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/electronic-arts/3010-1/" data-ref-id="3010-1">Electronic Arts</a> (under the <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/ea-sports/3010-6255/" data-ref-id="3010-6255">EA Sports</a> label) for the <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/genesis/3045-6/" data-ref-id="3045-6">Sega Genesis</a> in 1994.</p><p>The sequel to <a href="/pga-tour-golf-ii/3030-21954/" data-ref-id="3030-21954">PGA Tour Golf II</a>, PGA Tour Golf III builds on its predecessor (and its spin-off <a href="/pga-european-tour/3030-697/" data-ref-id="3030-697">PGA European Tour</a>) with higher-detailed graphics (with <a href="/digitized-sprites/3015-2288/" data-ref-id="3015-2288">digitized actors</a>), a revamped user interface, and eight total courses.</p><p>The game includes four courses from the previous game (<em><a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/tpc-sawgrass/3035-1081/" data-ref-id="3035-1081">TPC at Sawgrass</a></em>, <em>TPC at Avanel</em>, <em>TPC at Scottsdale</em>, and <em>TPC at Southwind</em>) and adds four new courses: <em>TPC at Summerlin</em> (located in <a href="/las-vegas/3035-78/" data-ref-id="3035-78">Las Vegas, Nevada</a>), <em>TPC at River Highlands</em> (located in <a href="/connecticut/3035-4526/" data-ref-id="3035-4526">Cromwell, Connecticut</a>), <em>TPC at Las Colinas</em> (located in <a href="/texas/3035-1316/" data-ref-id="3035-1316">Irving, Texas</a>), and <em>TPC at The Woodlands</em> (located in <a href="/texas/3035-1316/" data-ref-id="3035-1316">The Woodlands, Texas</a>).</p>
