<h2>Overview</h2><p>Puchi Carat is a block-breaking action-puzzle game developed by <a href="/taito-corporation/3010-135/" data-ref-id="3010-135">Taito</a> (along with <a href="/itl-co-ltd/3010-8070/" data-ref-id="3010-8070">ITL</a>) and released by Taito for <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/arcade/3045-84/" data-ref-id="3045-84">arcades</a> (using their <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/taito-f3-system/3015-9725/" data-ref-id="3015-9725">Taito F3 Package System</a> hardware) in Japan in October 1997.</p><p>The game was later ported to the <a href="/playstation/3045-22/" data-ref-id="3045-22">Sony PlayStation</a> on June 25, 1998 and the <a href="/game-boy-color/3045-57/" data-ref-id="3045-57">Game Boy Color</a> on April 23, 1999, both of which were later released in Europe in the yaer 2000 by Event Evolution Entertainment. The Japanese PS1 version was later digitally re-released on <a href="/playstation-network/3015-2623/" data-ref-id="3015-2623">PlayStation Network</a> (as a <a href="/psone-classics/3015-8405/" data-ref-id="3015-8405">Original PlayStation Archives</a> title) on August 24, 2008.</p>
