The Atrium is the central space within the Science Centre's exhibition galleries. Suspended from the centre of the Atrium, the Epicentre comes alive at regular intervals with a breath-taking multi-media show complete with audio-visual, light and laser effects. The Tesla Coil Demonstration is a highly dramatic and electrifying live demonstration of high voltage electricity. This 3.5 million volt coil generates spectacular five-metre long electric sparks that is akin to natural lighting.
