Little has changed in this follow-up to Best Play Pro Yakyū. Aside from the roster update and a new graphical interface, Best Play Pro Yakyū II has made the following gameplay changes: Pitchers now have stamina stat. You can now conduct a mound visit to check on the current pitcher's current conditions, stamina included. AI vs AI matches can now be set to skip, enabling you to spend more time in the game actually playing. Ballparks are now divided into 2 types based on their surface types: synthetic turf or natural grass. The former costs fielders less stamina, the latter causes players to make more errors.
