Then became a maze game with drones. Finally evolved to become something like "Tank Attack" but with bad graphics and no cool particle systems When I realized how close it was to Tank Attack, I decided to just go all the way and based my flame-thrower off of the one by the XSX Collab so credit for that: https://www.khanacademy.org/computer-programming/tank-attack-xsx-collab/5805158317981696 The code is original except for the getHex function which was originally written in C# by Sam Hocevar https://gamedev.stackexchange.com/questions/20742/how-can-i-implement-hexagonal-tilemap-picking-in-xna Note: many colours here were done in hexadecimal because Quinn Hardbrook got me stuck to using them and now I can't stop, lol. They will be written a bit like this: 0xffff0000. The first 2 letters (0x) tells the parser that the number is hexadecimal. The second 2 are for the alpha value, and the rest are regular rgb hex values. Also note: I decided not to use OOP, thinking that it might be a little faster. And success! The code appears to be fairly effective, however, I have managed to make it extremely dirty by using complicated array references instead of OOP.
