About

The Pahawh Platform combine resources and tools to teach the Pahawh Hmong. The Pahawh Hmong (𖬄𖬲𖬝𖬲𖬱 𖬄𖬲𖬟 𖬌𖬣𖬲𖬱) is a semi-syllabic script, created by Shong Lue Yang in 1959, to write the Hmong language. The script was developed through four stages, with the third stage being promoted as the stardard. This script can write both the Green Hmong (Moob Leeg) and White Hmong (Hmoob Dawb) dialect. The word Pahawh is equilalent to the English term "alphabet." In 2014, the Pahawh Hmong was added to the Unicode Standard as of version 7. So far there is no font that is unicode-compliant.
