Not only was he a great inventor, but Franklin also wrote the mottoes for the first coin issued by the U.S. government. The Fugio Cent is also called the Franklin Cent. My favorite fact? The way "Fugio" is used on this coin means "time flies!" I coined the phrase: "A kid who knows the value of coins is one wise bird!"
