<h2>Overview</h2><p>PGA European Tour is a golf simulation game developed by <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/polygames/3010-834/" data-ref-id="3010-834">Polygames</a> and published by <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/electronic-arts/3010-1/" data-ref-id="3010-1">Electronic Arts</a> (as part of their <a href="/ea-sports/3010-6255/" data-ref-id="3010-6255">EA Sports</a> brand) for the <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/genesis/3045-6/" data-ref-id="3045-6">Sega Genesis</a> in 1994. It received multiple ports from 1994-1996.</p><p>A <a href="/spin-off/3015-1100/" data-ref-id="3015-1100">spin-off</a> of the <a href="/pga-tour-golf/3025-455/" data-ref-id="3025-455">PGA Tour Golf</a> series, PGA European Tour builds on the game engine used in <a href="/pga-tour-golf-ii/3030-21954/" data-ref-id="3030-21954">PGA Tour Golf II</a> and offers a new assortment of courses, tournaments, and professional golfers from the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGA_European_Tour" data-target="true" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">PGA European Tour</a> organization. It also features dynamic weather conditions and two new game modes: Match Play (an eight-player elimination tournament) and Shoot-Out.</p><p>The courses included are <em>Wentworth Club</em> (located in <a href="/england/3035-192/" data-ref-id="3035-192">Surrey, England</a>), <em>Forest of Arden</em> (located in <a href="/england/3035-192/" data-ref-id="3035-192">Warwickshire, England</a>), <em>Crans-sur-Sierre</em> (located in <a href="/switzerland/3035-2261/" data-ref-id="3035-2261">Valais, Switzerland</a>), <em>Le Golf National</em> (located in <a href="/paris/3035-487/" data-ref-id="3035-487">Paris, France</a>), and <em>Valderrama</em> (located in <a href="/cadiz/3035-6178/" data-ref-id="3035-6178">Cádiz, Spain</a>).</p><h2>Ports</h2><p>The game received multiple ports from 1994-1996:</p><ul><li>It received a Europe-exclusive port by <a href="/dome-software-developments-the/3010-833/" data-ref-id="3010-833">Dome Software</a> for <a href="/amiga/3045-1/" data-ref-id="3045-1">Amiga</a> computers in 1994, co-published by <a href="/ocean-software-ltd/3010-6983/" data-ref-id="3010-6983">Ocean</a>, this version also received an <a href="/amiga-cd32/3045-39/" data-ref-id="3045-39">Amiga CD32</a> release in 1995.</li></ul><ul><li>It received a handheld port for the <a href="/game-boy/3045-3/" data-ref-id="3045-3">Game Boy</a> by <a href="/unexpected-development/3010-4415/" data-ref-id="3010-4415">Unexpected Development</a> in 1995, co-published by <a href="/malibu-games/3010-21750/" data-ref-id="3010-21750">Malibu Games</a>.</li></ul><ul><li>It received a <a href="/super-nintendo-entertainment-system/3045-9/" data-ref-id="3045-9">Super Nintendo Entertainment System</a> port by <a href="/halestorm-inc/3010-2630/" data-ref-id="3010-2630">Halestorm, Inc.</a> in late 1996, co-published by <a href="/black-pearl-software/3010-1605/" data-ref-id="3010-1605">Black Pearl Software</a>.</li></ul><ul><li>It received a Europe-exclusive port by <a href="/intelligent-games-ltd/3010-539/" data-ref-id="3010-539">Intelligent Games</a> for <a href="/pc/3045-94/" data-ref-id="3045-94">PCs</a> in 1996.</li></ul>
