About

In London, 1897, the famous violinist Gray Cornell approaches Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson in the St. James Hall Lobby. He wants to talk about a threatening letter that he received that morning. The letter said "I decided to get the famous violin instrument Stradivari that you have." The sender of the threatening letter is the villainous Professor Moriarty who is after the Stradivarius. Now at the request of Gray Cornell, Sherlock Holmes will accompany him on a violin performance tour in Europe to protect the Stradivarius. Meitantei Holmes: M Kara no Chōsenjō is after Sherlock Holmes: Hakushaku Reijō Yūkai Jiken and Meitantei Holmes: Kiri no London Satsujin Jiken the third and final instalment of the Towa Chiki's Holmes series and a Japanese adventure game in which all actions can be performed through a series of menu options displayed next to a static image of the current scene, (Move, listen to the story, look, search, call, show, take and decipher), like many Japanese graphic text adventure games. The game is presented in first person with the exception when at certain points of the game the "go outside" option is used. These are the tracking scenes and bring up a 3D dungeon crawl mode where Holmes will travel on foot with the use of the cross key. The direction of each key corresponds to north (up), south (down), east (right) and west (left). If you want to talk to people you use the "listen to the story" option. The "look" option is to see where you are, who is there, or what you are doing. "search" is used to check the objects and items in that place. If the person you want to speak to is not in the same room as Sherlock and Watson, but in the same building you can call them with the "call" option". The "move" option is when you want to go out or move to another place or room. When you have found evidence you can use the option "take" to add them to your belongings. "belongings" shows what you currently have in your possession. If you want to show the evidence to other people use the option "show". "observe" is to observe the person you have met for the first time with a keen observation eye. "listen to opinion" is to hear Watson's thoughts. "decipher" is used to break the codes that are dropped by Moriarty's subordinates. When the investigation in each country is complete, Professor Moriarty will tell you the password before going to the next country. If you enter this in the Continue, you can start the investigation from the next country. (it's by country) It is not possible to save in the middle of the investigation.
