<h2>Overview</h2><p>Aliens: Thanatos Encounter is a top down action game developed by <a data-ref-id="3010-1325" href="/crawfish-interactive/3010-1325/" slug="crawfish-interactive">Crawfish Interactive</a> and published by <a data-ref-id="3010-15" href="/thq/3010-15/" slug="thq">THQ</a> for the <a data-ref-id="3045-57" href="/game-boy-color/3045-57/" slug="game-boy-color">Game Boy Color</a> platform.</p><h2>Gameplay</h2><p>Aliens: Thanatos Encounter is played from a top down perspective. The player can shoot in eight different directions by pressing the desired direction and the A button. If the A button is held down the player will continuously shoot in the same direction allowing the player to then strafe.</p><p>Before each mission a briefing screen is given explaining the mission objectives. Some missions in the game must be completed within a set time limit while others are an unlimited amount of time.</p>
