<h2>Overview</h2><p>Joushou Mahjong Tenpai, loosely translated to "Heavenly Tiles of Invincible Mahjong", is a <a href="/mahjong/3015-6519/" data-ref-id="3015-6519">riichi mahjong</a> game developed by <a href="/game-arts-co-ltd/3010-386/" data-ref-id="3010-386">Game Arts</a> and published by <a href="/enix-corporation/3010-6337/" data-ref-id="3010-6337">Enix</a> for the <a href="/super-nintendo-entertainment-system/3045-9/" data-ref-id="3045-9">Super Famicom</a> in Japan on September 29, 1995.</p><p>Developed by the studio behind most of the <a href="/gambler-jiko-chuushinha/3025-3250/" data-ref-id="3025-3250">Gambler Jiko Chuushinha</a> games, Joushou Mahjong Tenpai features multiple training tools to aid players in playing mahjong, including a system to show optimal discards and strategies, a mahjong diagnosis mode, and a score calculator for use in real-life mahjong. It also features a <a href="/spectating/3015-3179/" data-ref-id="3015-3179">spectator mode</a> that shows professional matches, with additional data being downloadable through <a href="/satellaview/3045-98/" data-ref-id="3045-98">Satellaview</a> broadcasts.</p>
