Icarus Proudbottom Teaches Typing was made in 30 days (July 1 - July 31st, 2013) for the Something Awful GameDev Competition VIII. All games in the competition had to adhere to the theme of "subversive edutainment." Some players in Europe have reported that certain keys, such as apostrophes or question marks, do not register. If this happens to you, click the SETTINGS GEAR in-game and click "Kill Punctuation." This will remove all punctuation in the level except for periods and commas, and should allow you to at least complete the campaign. We realize this is a pretty lame fix, but since we have 30 days to complete the entire game, testing every international keyboard variant was impossible. We may revisit this issue if this game miraculously gets wide attention. Beating the game reveals a secret password after the closing credits.
