<h2>Overview</h2><p>Venom • Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety sometimes styled as Venom - Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety, is a side-scrolling brawler and the sequel to 1994's <a href="/spider-man-venom-maximum-carnage/3030-20034/" data-ref-id="3030-20034">Spider-Man &amp; Venom: Maximum Carnage</a>. Released in 1995 this game was developed by Software Creations (later Acclaim Studios Manchester) and features co-op play with a friend as Venom. In the single-player, the player can select whether they want to play as Spider-Man or Venom.</p><p>The two rivals team up in this game to defeat <a href="/carnage/3005-3162/" data-ref-id="3005-3162">Carnage</a> and Venom's symbiote-spawned children. All versions of the game are alike. The game has multiple cameo appearances by other characters on the Marvel roster.</p><p>Similar to its predecessor, Separation Anxiety has its own new cast of supporting summons to help the duo on their quest.</p><h3>Marvel Cameos</h3><p>These Marvel heroes appear as summons to aid and assist the player on their journey.</p><ul><li><b><a href="/hawkeye/3005-5708/" data-ref-id="3005-5708">Hawkeye</a>:</b> Rains arrows down upon his enemies.</li><li><b><a href="/ghost-rider/3005-2467/" data-ref-id="3005-2467">Ghost Rider</a>: </b>Beats up on all enemies on screen using his chain.</li><li><b><a href="/captain-america/3005-1376/" data-ref-id="3005-1376">Captain America</a>: </b>Captain America throws his shield hitting all enemies on the screen.</li><li><b><a href="/daredevil/3005-2574/" data-ref-id="3005-2574">Daredevil</a>: </b>Hits all enemies on the screen with his baton.</li></ul>
