<h2>Overview</h2><p>Advanced Daisenryaku: Deutsch Dengeki Sakusen ("Advanced Great Tactics: German Blitz Operation") is a turn-based strategy game developed and published by <a href="/sega/3010-62/" data-ref-id="3010-62">Sega</a> for the <a href="/genesis/3045-6/" data-ref-id="3045-6">Sega Mega Drive</a> platform. The original <a href="/daisenryaku/3025-1075/" data-ref-id="3025-1075">Daisenryaku</a> creators, SystemSoft, licensed the game to Sega for this and future "Advanced" Daisenryaku games. Released in 1991, it was one of the first games to support <a href="/online/3015-559/" data-ref-id="3015-559">online</a> multiplayer over the <a href="/sega-meganet/3015-7697/" data-ref-id="3015-7697">Sega MegaNet</a> service.</p><p>As the name suggests, it puts players in control of the German Wehrmacht forces in various campaigns in World War 2 as they take over large chunks of Europe and North Africa. </p>
