<h2>Overview</h2><p>Bubba 'n' Stix is a 2D puzzle-platformer developed and published by <a href="/core-design-ltd/3010-318/" data-ref-id="3010-318">Core Design Limited</a> for the <a href="/genesis/3045-6/" data-ref-id="3045-6">Genesis</a>, <a href="/amiga/3045-1/" data-ref-id="3045-1">Amiga</a>, and <a href="/amiga-cd32/3045-39/" data-ref-id="3045-39">Amiga CD32</a> in 1994, with all versions released in Europe and only the Genesis version receiving a North American release by <a href="/tengen/3010-752/" data-ref-id="3010-752">Tengen</a>.</p><p>In Bubba 'n' Stix, players guide the lanky <a href="/hick/3015-5864/" data-ref-id="3015-5864">redneck</a> Bubba around an <a href="/alien/3015-186/" data-ref-id="3015-186">alien</a> world in an attempt to return home, using his sentient alien <a href="/stick/3055-539/" data-ref-id="3055-539">stick</a> companion Stix both as a weapon and as a way to make progress (such as sticking him into a wall as a makeshift platform, using him to knock objects in certain directions, or using him to open new pathways).</p><p>The North American Genesis version is notable for being released as a <a href="/tie-in/3015-653/" data-ref-id="3015-653">cross-promotional tie-in</a> with the <a href="/bubblegum/3055-3166/" data-ref-id="3055-3166">bubble gum</a> brand <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubblicious" data-target="true" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Bubblicious</a>, with each copy of the game having a free coupon inside for a pack of gum and the brand having a sweepstakes for chances to win a <a href="/sega-cd/3045-29/" data-ref-id="3045-29">Sega CD</a> and/or Sega Genesis.</p><h2>Stages</h2><ol><li>Alien Forest</li><li>Waldos Starship</li><li>The Volcano</li><li>Marine Temple</li><li>The Spaceport</li></ol>
