Play on a touch device with the onscreen virtual gamepad Alternate control buttons on JKL How To Play Kill all enemies to complete each level A radar along the bottom of the screen shows where enemies are You start with 10 lives and get 3 more for completing each level There are 5 levels and a final boss at the end For an optimal play experience please use Chrome in fullscreen mode Settings 1 - Toggle Low/High Detail Mode 2 - Toggle Voice 3 - Toggle Music 4 - Toggle Audio Enter - Toggle fullscreen mode Esc or P - Pause R - Restart Gameplay Tips Rolling puts out fire, makes you invulnerable, and does melee damage Hold down jump to climb walls, jump flip to get more height or distance Enemies have slow reactions and are briefly stunned when damaged Levels are randomly generated, it's different every time Timer pauses when paused, take a break if you need to Enemy Types Recruit (Green) - A bit shorter, more hesitant, takes only 1 hit Soldier (Blue) - Average height and ability, takes 2 hits Captain (Red) - Can climb walls and jumps more often, takes 3 hits Specialist (White) - Jumps and rolls often, they are ninjas, takes 4 hits Demolitions Expert (Purple) - Throws grenades and can't catch fire, takes 5 hits Small chance of a heavy weapons variation that has double health and fires full auto Major Updates 11/5/21 - Mobile Support! Separate leaderboard and medals for mobile devices. 11/13/21 - Improved boss, will chase you, rolling through walls and throwing stuff. 11/24/21 - Cooperative win time scoreboard added. Space Huggers was originally made for JS13K and fit in a 13k zip file! This version has some extra improvements, music, a final boss, medals and a scoreboard.
