<h2>Overview</h2><p>Falcon is a flight sim that was released in the 1980s for the MSX and Macintosh by Spectrum Holobyte. It is the first game in the <a href="/falcon/3025-942/" data-ref-id="3025-942">Falcon</a> series of flight sims based on the <a href="/f-16-fighting-falcon/3055-5296/" data-ref-id="3055-5296">F-16 Fighting Falcon</a> aircraft. The player would hunt for targets in the F-16 from the cockpit view, chasing down MIGs and ground targets.</p><p>The game was later adapted for the PC, Atari ST and Amiga computers. It also made its way to the TurboGrafx-16 in 1992, where it was developed by <a href="/sphere-inc/3010-1328/" data-ref-id="3010-1328">Sphere Inc.</a>. A SNES version was planned but cancelled.</p>
