<h2>Overview</h2><p>International Rugby is a rugby game that, true to its name, features a collection of international sides that can compete in either single exhibition matches or full tournaments. It uses a vertically-aligned top-down perspective of the field with smaller player sprites, similar to <a href="/sensible-soccer-european-champions/3030-27453/" data-ref-id="3030-27453">Sensible Soccer</a>.</p><p>It is a Mega Drive-exclusive adaptation of Domark's previous <a href="/international-rugby-challenge/3030-18790/" data-ref-id="3030-18790">International Rugby Challenge</a> for home computers, switching developers to Tiertex, and is also the first game to represent the sport of rugby on a Sega platform (though not the last).
