<h2>Overview</h2><p>Avenging Spirit is an action game developed by <a href="/cp-brain/3010-7883/" data-ref-id="3010-7883">C.P. Brain</a> and published by <a href="/jaleco-ltd/3010-1033/" data-ref-id="3010-1033">Jaleco</a> for <a href="/arcade/3045-84/" data-ref-id="3045-84">arcades</a> in 1991. Avenging Spirit was ported to the <a href="/game-boy/3045-3/" data-ref-id="3045-3">Game Boy</a> in 1992, also by Jaleco. The game was also ported to the <a href="/iphone/3045-96/" data-ref-id="3045-96">iPhone</a> platform on December 14th, 2010 by <a href="/dotemu/3010-7701/" data-ref-id="3010-7701">DotEmu</a>.</p><h2>Story</h2><p>The story of this game is a gangster whose gang was involved in ghost technology is killed leaving only a ghost left to avenge the death and save his girlfriend who is being held captive by a rival gang.</p><h2>Gameplay</h2><p>The game gives the player control of a spirit that can inhabit any standard enemy in the game. The game is a side-scrolling action game.</p>
