<h2>Overview</h2><p>Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run is an arcade style baseball game, which was developed by <a href="/rare-ltd/3010-174/" data-ref-id="3010-174">Rare</a> and released on the <a href="/snes/3045-9/" data-ref-id="3045-9">SNES</a> in 1996.</p><p>Players can participate in five different modes of play, including Season, MLB Challenge, World Series, and Home Run Derby. The game features all twenty-eight Major League Baseball teams actively playing at the time of the game's release as well as two expansion teams that had yet to begin play: the <a href="/arizona-diamondbacks/3015-7357/" data-ref-id="3015-7357">Arizona Diamondbacks</a> and <a href="/tampa-bay-rays/3015-5291/" data-ref-id="3015-5291">Tampa Bay Devil Rays</a>. Because the game was unable to obtain the Major League Baseball Players Association license, <a href="/ken-griffey-jr/3005-210/" data-ref-id="3005-210">Ken Griffey Jr.</a> is the only actual player that appears in the game. All of the other players were given fictitious names along the lines of Muscles McFee, or Big Magoo.</p>
