<h2>Overview</h2><p>The Mahjong Touhaiden is a one-on-one <a href="/mahjong/3015-6519/" data-ref-id="3015-6519">mahjong</a> game for the Super Famicom. It has a few RPG elements, and each character in its diverse cast has their own strengths and weaknesses. The player can follow a story mode with a selection of playable characters, or take on the CPU in single exhibition matches.</p><p>It was developed by <a href="/khaos/3010-6861/" data-ref-id="3010-6861">Khaos</a> (either a company formed from <a href="/micronics/3010-5139/" data-ref-id="3010-5139">Micronics</a> employees, or Micronics itself after a name change) for <a href="/video-system-co-ltd/3010-1760/" data-ref-id="3010-1760">Video System</a>. As with all mahjong games on the Super Famicom, it was never released outside of Japan.</p>
