<h2>Overview</h2><p>Super Famista 3 is the third of five Super Famicom games in Namco's <a href="/family-stadium/3025-2497/" data-ref-id="3025-2497">Famista</a> (short for Family Stadium) series of baseball sims. It followed Famista '94, the final NES Famista game, which was released in December 1993.</p><p>Like previous Famista games, the game has the license to use the <a href="/nippon-professional-baseball/3015-6755/" data-ref-id="3015-6755">Nippon Professional Baseball</a> license, Japan's analog to MLB.</p><p>Unlike previous Super Famista games, this one uses FastROM.</p><p>The game uses the following real-life Japanese teams:</p><ul><li>Yakult Swallows</li><li>Chunichi Dragons</li><li>Yomiuri Giants</li><li>Hanshin Tigers</li><li>Yokohama Bay Stars</li><li>Hiroshima Toyo Carp</li><li>Seibu Lions</li><li>Nippon Ham Fighters</li><li>Orix Blue Wave</li><li>Kintetsu Buffaloes</li><li>Chiba Lotte Marines</li><li>Fukuoka Daiei Hawks</li><li>Namco Stars (the only fictional team, and the game's powerful "all-stars" team)</li></ul>
