<h2>Overview</h2><p><strong>Kyūyaku Megami Tensei </strong>(Megami Tensei: The Old Testament) was released by <a href="/atlus-co-ltd/3010-442/" data-ref-id="3010-442">Atlus</a> for the <a href="/snes/3045-9/" data-ref-id="3045-9">Super Famicom</a> in 1995 following the success of the <a href="/shin-megami-tensei/3025-711/" data-ref-id="3025-711">Shin Megami Tensei</a> games. Kyūyaku<i> </i>contains remakes of the first two <a href="/megami-tensei/3025-525/" data-ref-id="3025-525">Megami Tensei</a> games, featuring significant graphical improvements over their <a href="/nes/3045-21/" data-ref-id="3045-21">Famicom</a> originals. Other additions include:</p><ul><li>2 entirely original introductory scenes.</li><li>Save functionality, rather then the cumbersome password system of the original games.</li><li>A new arranged soundtrack handled by renowned composer <a href="/hitoshi-sakimoto/3040-11056/" data-ref-id="3040-11056">Hitoshi Sakimoto</a>.</li></ul>
