LATEST DEMO PATCH NOTES (2/7/21) Happy Pixel Day! The demo for my solo passion project, AdventNEON, is finally here on Newgrounds! Several people requested a web build for a long while, and after a ton of work, I've finally managed to make it fully playable online! AdventNEON's a game inspired by a lot of old school platformers, with a bit of anime influence thrown in!. It's meant to challenge you, but let you style on enemies in a very freeform way, while enabling you to literally transform at maximum power (if you're skilled enough!). Whether you want to chain frame-perfect dash-canceled attacks, or just hold one button for Neon to do an anime barrage, you should be able to find a fun time in this game! "Face" buttons are A/B/X/Y, Square/Circle/X/Triangle, etc. Move - WSAD/Arrows | Left Stick/D-Pad Attack - P / Z | Left Face / Left Trigger Jump - Space / C | Bottom Face / Right Bumper Dash - O / X | Top Face / Left Bumper BREAK Attack - I / V | Right Face / Right Stick IMPORTANT MECHANICS Dash to dodge damage or cancel your attacks! Attacks can chain into more attacks if you land them! Dash near an enemy attack to freeze time and counterattack (Has a 10s cooldown)! Build up Resonance % by dishing damage without taking it. Resonance enables you to do Critical Damage, and reaching 100% boosts you even more! You can run on walls by holding the direction of the wall, while jumping!
