Shay</a> this shoot'em up was first published in 1982 by <a href="/solar-software/3010-11105/" data-ref-id="3010-11105">Solar Software</a> for the Commodore VIC-20 under the name "Asteroyds". In 1986 this game was then released for the Commodore 16 / PLUS 4 under the name "Meteorite". It was also released for the Commodore 16 / PLUS 4 on the compilation "Triple Decker 4"(as "Meteorites") published by <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/alternative-software-ltd/3010-1474/" data-ref-id="3010-1474">Alternative Software</a> and on many Italian compilations under names like "Asteroids", "Impact" or "Skyrock".(see the <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/meteorite/3030-49992/releases/#toc-release-142156" data-ref-id="3030-49992">releases-page</a> for detailed information).</p>
