<h2>Overview</h2><figure data-align="right" data-size="small" data-img-src="https://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/0/7167/396518-1008804324_00.gif" data-ref-id="1300-396518" data-ratio="0.9" data-width="160" data-embed-type="image" style="width: 160px"><a class="fluid-height" style="padding-bottom:90.0%" href="https://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/0/7167/396518-1008804324_00.gif" data-ref-id="1300-396518"><img alt="No Caption Provided" src="https://www.giantbomb.com/a/uploads/original/0/7167/396518-1008804324_00.gif" srcset="https://www.giantbomb.com/a/uploads/original/0/7167/396518-1008804324_00.gif 160w" sizes="(max-width: 160px) 100vw, 160px" data-width="160"></a></figure><p>The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 2 (also known in-game as <em>The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle II</em>) is a 2D action-puzzle platformer developed and published by <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/kemco/3010-1270/" data-ref-id="3010-1270">Kemco</a> for the <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/game-boy/3045-3/" data-ref-id="3045-3">Game Boy</a> on September 1991 in North America.</p><p>The sequel to <a href="/the-bugs-bunny-crazy-castle/3030-12029/" data-ref-id="3030-12029">The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle</a>, it was originally released in Japan on April 26, 1991 as <em>Mickey Mouse II</em> (featuring <a href="/mickey-mouse/3005-2363/" data-ref-id="3005-2363">the cartoon mouse of the same name</a>) and in Europe on 1992 as <em>Mickey Mouse</em> and later on September 13, 1995 by <a href="/laguna-gmbh/3010-2300/" data-ref-id="3010-2300">Laguna</a> as <em>Hugo</em> (featuring <a href="/hugo/3005-10859/" data-ref-id="3005-10859">the cartoon troll of the same name</a>).</p><p>Players control <a href="/looney-tunes/3025-714/" data-ref-id="3025-714">Looney Tunes</a> icon <a href="/bugs-bunny/3005-3896/" data-ref-id="3005-3896">Bugs Bunny</a> as he must save <a href="/honey-bunny/3005-32710/" data-ref-id="3005-32710">Honey Bunny</a> again, this time in the castle of the nasty <a href="/witch-hazel/3005-7278/" data-ref-id="3005-7278">Witch Hazel</a>. Instead of collecting carrots, he must now open special locked doors by collecting keys scattered throughout the level. Along the way, he encounters new enemies, including <a href="/taz/3005-10570/" data-ref-id="3005-10570">Taz</a>, <a href="/foghorn-leghorn/3005-10491/" data-ref-id="3005-10491">Foghorn Leghorn</a>, and Spike the Bulldog.</p><p>The "Bugs Bunny" version was later bundled in a single cartridge with <a href="/the-bugs-bunny-crazy-castle/3030-12029/" data-ref-id="3030-12029">The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle</a> in Japan on December 19, 1997 as <em>Bugs Bunny Collection</em>. Both this version and the European "Hugo" version are unique as it supports the <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/super-game-boy-enhancement/3015-4804/" data-ref-id="3015-4804">Super Game Boy</a> with unique borders.</p>
