<h2>Overview</h2><p>Predator 2 is an action game based on the 1990 movie of the same name. Both the movie and the game adaptation places the alien hunter known as the Predator in the streets of LA, rather than the jungles of South America of the original film, and tasks detective Lt. Harrigan (played by Danny Glover in the movie) with stopping its homicidal onslaught.</p><p>The first Predator 2 came out on PC in 1990 in <a href="/north-america/3035-1664/" data-ref-id="3035-1664"> North America</a>. Being a "<a href="/on-rails/3015-169/" data-ref-id="3015-169">on-rails shooter</a>" of sorts, it was later ported to <a href="/amiga/3045-1/" data-ref-id="3045-1">Amiga</a>,<a href="/amstrad-cpc/3045-11/" data-ref-id="3045-11"> Amstrad CPC</a>, <a href="/atari-st/3045-13/" data-ref-id="3045-13"> Atari ST</a>, <a href="/commodore-64/3045-14/" data-ref-id="3045-14"> Commodore 64</a> and <a href="/zx-spectrum/3045-16/" data-ref-id="3045-16"> ZX Spectrum</a> in 1991. The game was also published by <a href="/konami-corporation/3010-87/" data-ref-id="3010-87"> Konami</a>.</p><p>The second game came out in 1991 for the <a href="/sega-master-system/3045-8/" data-ref-id="3045-8"> Sega Master System</a> in <a href="/europe/3035-289/" data-ref-id="3035-289"> Europe</a> and in 1992 for <a href="/game-gear/3045-5/" data-ref-id="3045-5"> Game Gear</a> and Genesis/Mega Drive in Europe and North America.
