<h2>Overview</h2><p>M-1 Abrams Battle Tank is a 3D military vehicle simulation game from <a href="/dynamix-inc/3010-237/" data-ref-id="3010-237">Dynamix</a> that allows players to take on missions across various locales in the titular armored vehicle. The game was ported to the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive a few years later by <a href="/realtime-games-software-ltd/3010-1440/" data-ref-id="3010-1440">Realtime Games</a>.</p><p>The player can choose the play through the entire campaign or any of the eight missions separately, all four crew positions are available - Driver, Gunner, Loader, and Commander - as well as several ammunition types for the main gun. The missions are linear and tightly scripted, and may become unwinnable if enemies are fought in the wrong order.</p><p>The MS-DOS version uses an early version of the 3D engine Dynamix later used for <a href="/betrayal-at-krondor/3030-7166/" data-ref-id="3030-7166">Betrayal at Krondor</a>, while the Genesis port uses Realtime Games' <a href="/carrier-command/3030-9194/" data-ref-id="3030-9194">Carrier Command</a> engine.</p>
