<h2>Overview</h2><p> </p><p>Nakajima Satoru Kanshuu F1 Hero MD, released overseas as Ferrari Grand Prix Challenge, is the second of three games in the <a href="/nakajima-satoru/3025-3949/" data-ref-id="3025-3949">Nakajima Satoru</a> F1 series to be released on Mega Drive, and the fifth in the series overall. The game, like the series, is named for Japanese F1 champion <a href="/satoru-nakajima/3040-101311/" data-ref-id="3040-101311">Satoru Nakajima</a>.</p><p>Like previous games in the series, the game's perspective uses a first-person cockpit view. The game screen is split to allow for two-player simultaneous gameplay; in single-player mode, the second player's half of the screen instead displays an overhead view of the track, the player vehicle's condition, and the player's lap times.</p><p>The Genesis/Mega Drive version was developed by <a href="/aisystem-tokyo/3010-3579/" data-ref-id="3010-3579">Aisystem Tokyo</a> and published by <a href="/flying-edge-inc/3010-2193/" data-ref-id="3010-2193">Flying Edge</a> in the United States and Europe and <a href="/varie/3010-1652/" data-ref-id="3010-1652">Varie</a> in Japan. The NES/Famicom and Game Boy versions were developed by <a href="/system-3-software-ltd/3010-1265/" data-ref-id="3010-1265">System 3</a> and published by <a href="/acclaim-entertainment-inc/3010-88/" data-ref-id="3010-88">Acclaim</a> in the United States and Europe and <a href="/coconuts-japan-entertainment-co-ltd/3010-2647/" data-ref-id="3010-2647">Coconuts Japan</a> in Japan.</p>
