<h2>Overview</h2><p>Famicom Bunko: Hajimari no Mori ("Famicom Storybook: Origin of the Forest") is an adventure game for the Super Famicom and was released exclusively through the <a href="/nintendo-power/3015-8760/" data-ref-id="3015-8760">Nintendo Power</a> service. The game would later be made available via the <a href="/virtual-console/3015-2925/" data-ref-id="3015-2925">Virtual Console</a> for Japanese Wii and Wii U. </p><p>The game's story concerns a young boy who travels to the countryside to live with his grandfather for a time. This player-named protagonist meets a mysterious young girl named Komurasaki soon after he arrives, and tries to find her again as the tale continues. The game uses the standard Famicom/Super Famicom adventure game model where the player selects commands from a menu that the protagonist attempts to complete. </p>
