SD Battle Ōzumō: Heisei Hero Basho brings together super deformed characters (or mobile suits in the case of Gundam) from the Gundam, Ultraman, Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series, plus two Banpresto original characters, Banprekid and Great Kaminarimon, to spar in the sumo ring. You only have two actions in the ring: push and grapple. While being grappled, your grapple button becomes the hold-breaking or counter-throw action, depending on the directional button you press along with it. The red bar represents health and affects how much the fighter can resist a push. A push restores the pusher's health and staying in a grapple drains the health of the fighter under grapple. The blue bar represents stamina and affects whether you can execute a move or not.
