Join Seabreeze on an epic adventure around a tree! ... well, it is neither epic nor adventure, but it is definitely around a tree so there is that. Also apparently the Flash plugin might stop responding on Chrome, but clicking the Collapse button and then Expand seems to fix the problem. Oh, and a fair warning: this requires a fairly powerful graphics card to run smoothly. =========================================================================== As long as I remember I always wanted to do something with 3D in Flash, and finally I found an idea that I could use to start my journey into the world of 3D engines. The whole thing took around 4 months to make from scratch, with 2 of them being used to make Seabreeze in 3ds Max. The animation uses Away3D engine and some of the cooler things I managed to do with are: - dynamic animation modifications (Seabreeze turns his head around to look at the viewer, which took a lot of time, research and trial and error to make) - fake volumetric lighting ("god rays") Additionally, the background image has been created from scratch in 3Ds Max and took VRay 9 hours to render.
