It covers key battles throughout the complete <a href="/dragon-ball-z/3025-159/" data-ref-id="3025-159">Dragon Ball Z</a> storyline. Multiplayer is supported via <a href="/game-boy-advance-link-cable/3000-54/" data-ref-id="3000-54">link cable</a>.</p><p>The game later received a sequel for the <a href="/nintendo-ds/3045-52/" data-ref-id="3045-52">Nintendo DS</a>, titled <a href="/dragon-ball-z-supersonic-warriors-2/3030-21430/" data-ref-id="3030-21430">Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2</a>.</p><h2>Characters</h2><p>The game includes 13 playable characters, each with three character "levels".
