<h2>Overview</h2><p>PGA Tour Golf II is a golf simulation game developed by <a href="/polygames/3010-834/" data-ref-id="3010-834">Polygames</a> and published by <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/electronic-arts/3010-1/" data-ref-id="3010-1">Electronic Arts</a> for the <a href="/genesis/3045-6/" data-ref-id="3045-6">Sega Genesis</a> in 1992. In North America, it was released as part of their <a href="/ea-sports/3010-6255/" data-ref-id="3010-6255">EA Sports</a> label. The game was later ported to the <a href="/game-gear/3045-5/" data-ref-id="3045-5">Game Gear</a> in 1995, co-published by <a href="/time-warner-interactive-inc/3010-468/" data-ref-id="3010-468">Time Warner Interactive</a>.</p><p>The sequel to the Genesis version of <a href="/pga-tour-golf/3030-6799/" data-ref-id="3030-6799">PGA Tour Golf</a>, PGA Tour Golf II builds on the original's three main courses (<em><a href="/tpc-sawgrass/3035-1081/" data-ref-id="3035-1081">TPC at Sawgrass</a></em>, <em>TPC at Avanel</em>, and <em>PGA West Stadium</em>) with three new courses: <em>TPC at Southwind</em> (located in <a href="/memphis/3035-1350/" data-ref-id="3035-1350">Memphis, Tennessee</a>), <em>TPC at Eagle Trace</em> (located in <a href="/florida/3035-1324/" data-ref-id="3035-1324">Coral Springs, Florida</a>), and <em>TPC at Scottsdale</em> (located in <a href="/arizona/3035-504/" data-ref-id="3035-504">Scottsdale, Arizona</a>). It also features higher-quality graphics and a new game mode based on the PGA Tour's <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skins_Game_(PGA_Tour)" data-target="true" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Skins Game</a> event.</p><p>The new courses were later brought back to certain versions of the original game, with the Amiga version receiving these courses as an <a href="/expansion/3015-344/" data-ref-id="3015-344">expansion disk</a> (<em>Tournament Course Disk</em>) and the SNES version replacing the fantasy course with <em>TPC at Eagle Trace</em>.</p>
