<h4>Plot</h4><p><a href="//www.giantbomb.com/goemon/3005-1989/" data-ref-id="3005-1989">Goemon</a>'s friend <a href="//www.giantbomb.com/ebisumaru/3005-2000/" data-ref-id="3005-2000">Ebisumaru</a> has been kidnapped by <a href="//www.giantbomb.com/yagyu-jubei-mitsuyoshi/3005-11535/" data-ref-id="3005-11535">Jubei Yagyu</a>, and it is up to Goemon to rescue him.</p><h4>Release History</h4><p><strong>Ganbare Goemon: Sarawareta Ebisumaru!</strong> was released in Japan on Christmas day in 1991. It was never released as a stand-alone game in the west.</p><p>The game was collected on <a href="//www.giantbomb.com/konami-gb-collection-vol-3/3030-41151/" data-ref-id="3030-41151">Konami GB Collection Vol. 2</a>, which was released for the <a href="//www.giantbomb.com/game-boy/3045-3/" data-ref-id="3045-3">Game Boy</a> in Japan in December of 1997. This collection was released in Europe for <a href="//www.giantbomb.com/game-boy-color/3045-57/" data-ref-id="3045-57">Game Boy Color</a> in the year 2000 as Konami GB Collection Vol. 3. Here, the game was titled "Mystical Ninja starring Goemon" - one of three completely different games to be released with this title.</p><p>Ganbare Goemon: Sarawareta Ebisumaru! was ported to <a href="//www.giantbomb.com/nintendo-3ds-eshop/3045-138/" data-ref-id="3045-138">Nintendo 3DS</a>' <a href="//www.giantbomb.com/virtual-console/3015-2925/" data-ref-id="3015-2925">Virtual Console</a> in June of 2012.</p><h4> </h4>
