The building showcases an abundance of glass in the atriums, skylights and lift shafts, signifying the ideal of transparency in the law. The marble cladding of the building's facade is made from laminated sheets of rosa aurora marble harvested in Portugal. During the day, the marble allows natural daylight to filter in. Come nightfall, light from within the building emanates outwards.
