A dating sim made in Flash, featuring Flash! Author Comments: This is a tech demo of the game engine and gameplay features for a hypothetical dating simulator. I considered waiting until the project was done and releasing it for next year's Flash Forward Jam, but the amount of work put into it wouldn't make it fair competition for any newcomers for next year, so I'm releasing a tech demo of what I've got working so far, and the full game will be released outside of any competition. Aside from using Vcam, I programmed all the gameplay features which include: - Saving your game, with up to 8 save slots - Time and money management system - Visual Novel style cutscenes, with branching choices - A simple, real-time battle system - Simplified date mechanics - Custom player name, with working keyboard for touchscreen input - Other events not featured in the tech demo because they're not done yet Known bugs: - Dialogue history doesn't work in Ruffle player, but works in native Flash Player. - Hp Bars may freak out in Ruffle Player, but this is only visual. Stats are unaffected. - Blank Multiple-Choice Dialogues appear in Ruffle Player, but not in Flash Player. - Dialogue font is bold in Ruffle Player. It's regular in Flash Player. - Some very minor vector rendering issues. If the artwork looks brighter than it should be, try refreshing the page. - Rent payment will sometimes over-collect after loading a save file when visiting the world map.
