Most of us are not born with perfectly straight teeth, but Braces can help straighten crooked teeth and realign offset bites so that you too can have a confident and winning smile. If you’re curious about the process of getting braces on your teeth, read on! How are teeth straightened? In this interactive procedure, we will begin by going over which dental issues Braces are used to address, and you will assist in taking an impression of the patient’s teeth in order to create a mold so that we can make custom dental appliances for them. Once the Braces are ready to be used, you will polish our patient’s teeth, and then insert molar bands to ensure the anchoring of the Braces. After that you will use a bonding agent to bond the brackets to each of the teeth. Once all the teeth have been bracketed, you will insert archwire through each bracket to connect them, clip the ends of the archwire for comfort, and apply elastic ligatures so that the archwire will stay in place.
